The Laboratory for Biographical Learning and Transformative (BTLEARN) Adult Education collaborates with the following organisations that develop activities in the field of formal and non-formal adult education and in the field of the study of informal learning processes.

European Society for Research on the Education of Adults (ESREA)

http://esrea.org/ και https://rela.ep.liu.se/indexESREA's mission is to support the promotion of research on adult education and learning in Europe, mainly through cooperation between researchers, in the European context, understood in broader geographical terms, but also through the development of research and the dissemination of results in all areas of adult and continuing education. European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) https://eaea.org/The European Association for Adult Education (EAEA) is the voice of non-formal adult education in Europe. EAEA is a European NGO with 120 member organisations in 43 countries, representing more than 60 million learners across Europe. EAEA aims to connect and represent European organisations directly involved in adult learning. EAEA promotes adult learning and access to and participation in non-formal adult education for all, especially for currently under-represented groups. The Laboratory for Biographical Learning and Transformative Adult Education collaborates with EAEA on European projects (e.g. Erasmus+) while members of the laboratory serve on the EAEA Board of Directors.
International Transformative Learning Association (ITLA) https://www.intertla.org/The purpose of the International Transformative Learning Association (ITLA) is to promote the critical scholarship, research, teaching, application and practice of the social, scientific, artistic and humanistic principles of transformative learning theory and practice. The Association is a not-for-profit organization, dedicated to the educational and scholarly development of its members, and to collaborations in research and practice. The Laboratory for Biographical Learning and Transformative Adult Learning collaborates with ITLA in the implementation of educational activities while members of the laboratory serve in its administrative structures and in particular in the group leading its development (Leadership Circle).
International Adult and Continuing Education Hall of Fame (IACE Hall of Fame). https://www.halloffame.outreach.ou.edu/ και http://www.hofe.andragogy.net/HOFe-members.htmThe Hall of Fame honors leaders in the fields of continuing and adult education and serves as a repository of inspiration for the next generation of continuing education leaders. Each year, adult and continuing education leaders from around the world are selected for Hall of Fame induction. These individuals reflect the great diversity of the practice and scholarship of adult and continuing education and the increasingly global community of leaders that makes up the IACE Hall of Fame. In 2019, Dr. George Koulaouzidis became the first Greek adult education scientist to be inducted into the Hall of Fame and has since served on the organization's Board of Directors. The Laboratory for Biographical Learning and Transformative Adult Education collaborates with the Hall of Fame in the development of educational activities.
International Council for Adult Education (ICAE) lhttp://icae.global/tThe International Council for Adult Education (ICAE) is a global network dedicated to defending the learning and education of young people and adults (ALE) as a universal human right. Created in 1973, it has 7 regional bodies (Africa, Arab Region, Asia, Caribbean, Europe, Latin America and North America) representing more than 800 NGOs - regional, national and sectoral networks - in over 75 countries. ICAE is a UNESCO-affiliated organisation with an advisory role to the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and has observer status to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). It is a strategic network that promotes adult education and training as a tool for active citizenship and informed participation of people. The Laboratory for LifeLong Learning and Transformative Adult Education collaborates in the implementation of the Council's educational activities (ICAE's Academy of LifeLong Learning Advocacy)
Hellenic Adult Education Association https://adulteduc.gr// και https://ejournals.epublishing.ekt.gr/index.php/aeciHellenic Adult Education Association is a non-profit organisation, founded in 2004. The aim of the Association is the development of educational programmes, the organisation of conferences, research, consultancy, information and dialogue in Greece and internationally for the promotion of the principles and methods of Adult Education. The Association publishes the journal Adult Education Critical Issues (open access) and is a statutory affiliate of the International Transformative Learning Association (members of the Association are automatically members of ITLA). The Laboratory of Biographical Learning and Transformative Adult Education collaborates with the Scientific Association for Adult Education through its staff members who support the activities of the Association and participate in the Board of Directors.
